GOODWIN'S ANTIQUES
Goodwins Antiques was established in 1980 by Bob Goodwin and his son Tom. Originally from Hamilton, New York, they started business in the Madison-Bouckville area primarily through group shops and an occasional local show. Their focus at that time was Hitchcock and Sheraton fancy chairs along with hand-colored natural history prints. Expansion of their business was based on common interests and experiences with travel to various parts of the world, always with antiques in the back of their minds.
Their specialties now include Asian antiques, period American furniture, and tribal art from the American West, pre-Columbian period, the South Pacific, and Africa.
Now retired from their non-antique jobs, they split their time between Pulaski, New York on the shore of Lake Ontario, and Reedville, Virginia on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay. They attend shows in both Upstate New York and Central & Northern Virginia. They still are on the move always looking for that next great find.
